In this episode, we talk with Ifti Chowdhury, a singer, community organizer and the founder of the Royal Bengal Tea House (RBTH).
Excerpt: “I found a hobby that I’m very passionate about but I don’t have to be a slave to it. I’ve tried to be a full-time musician, but it’s extremely difficult especially in a city like New York. To be able to sustain yourself, you have to be an exceptionally popular musician who generates a lot of income. So, my choice was a practical choice: I still want to be a business analyst in IT, and find a balance where I can still have a full time job and do something with my events and music exactly how I want it and not be dictated by financial restrictions.”
